I enjoy providing high quality care and good health standards to Symonds Street Medical Centre patients. One of the great feelings from doing this job is when you see the smile on our patients which reflects our success and achievement.

I graduated from College of Medicine – Baghdad University in 2005 and completed hospital training in Iraq and Melbourne. I obtained the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners fellowship in 2015 and the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners fellowship in 2016.

I have an all-round knowledge of GP matters and I have a special interest in Hypertension and cardiovascular disease including Diabetes management, dermatology including skin cancer, sexual transmitted disease and travel medicine.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and playing sports, particularly soccer.
