Practice Nurse

Jiye Min (Jenny)

I work with team to improve a patient’s health outcome. I am also involved in immigration medical check-up. I like helping and supporting others. Also, talking to variety of people from all around the world.

I was born in South Korea, have lived in the Philippines where I learnt English and arrived in New Zealand when I was 15. I came to Symonds Street Medical Centre for my visa application and was then given an opportunity to be a nurse following my graduation from university.

I would like to help improve the health literacy of our patients so they feel more comfortable around health care professionals and able to ask questions.

I enjoy watching drama or movies, hanging out with friends, baking, eating yummy food, I play piano, cello and the flute, and dancing – I was in our CATS production at high school.
